Patricia Consolo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 25 years of experience. Patricia graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the State University of New York.
Patricia has been a member of The National Association for the Mentally Ill and served as an elected officer as Education Coordinator of a Dual Diagnosis Task Force in both Schenectady and Albany County. In addition to her vast and diverse work experiences, she has been a Clinical Affiliate for a NYC Employee Assistance Program and a Education and Training Provider for The State of New York, Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services. Too, Patricia has assumed the role as Clinical Director and Program Developer of a substance abuse agency. She has served as an adjunct instructor, teaching General and Abnormal Psychology. She has been a lecturer on topics related to cognitive behavioral therapy and client therapist relationships and has worked with a varied range of mental health issues and specializes in grief and loss, couples therapy, depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as cell phone addiction.
Education and Training: Six years of education obtaining a masters in social work; followed by 3 years of post-graduate work to obtain licensed clinical social worker qualifying for diagnosis of patients and an additional 3 years to obtain “R” privilege, securing 12 years in total of education and post-graduate work which entailed clinical supervision and over 5,000 psychotherapy hours.
