Judith A. Hawkins, LCSW-R, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her degree from the State University of New York at Albany where she graduated with High Honors. She has more then 18 years of experience as a therapist working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma issues, chronic pain/medical conditions, family and relationship difficulties, and issues of grief and loss. She has additional expertise in the field of substance use and abuse and suicide prevention/crisis intervention.
Some of her experience includes working with the homeless, working with Veterans, working in the field of Geriatrics, and working within the school systems. Her experience also includes program development which consisted of developing and launching two programs within Albany County. Judy has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1997.
Judy attends continuing education courses and seminars to remain up to date on new treatment modalities to enhance her ability to deliver quality of care to her clients.
