Gene is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years in the field. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and his Master’s Degree from the University at Albany. Gene has worked most of his career with an adult population in a hospital setting, and also has experience working with at-risk children and adolescents in residential placement. Gene has also practiced forensic social work with the NYS Office of Mental Health. Gene specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, addictions, and life transitions. He practices a combination of CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered therapies.
